1970’s Cherokee Boats?

    Does anyone know anything about Mid-70’s Cherokee Aluminum Boats? I’m looking at 1 this Week and dont know anything about them. Thanks

    I have a 1976 Cherokee that I have done extensive work on. What kind of questions do you have? Made down in Mackenzie, Tennessee. I think I have the 1600 Jamican model although I have left from that is the hull. It measures 15’9. Rated for 115 hp. I have a 1977 85hp Johnson. Moves me at 37mph gps Really nice,deep sides. Not the driest or smoothest ride in waves. Placing the boat on the trailer is hit or miss.
