    I’ve been doing my part
    As was mentioned a week or so ago, the 25 vote limit is easily erased by clearing your cookies
    Mauer is somekind of player, hitting the likes we haven’t seen in years. Maybe when Carew came close to 400, however many years ago that was I only hope he can sustain throughout the season.

    He’s overated big deal .390, tell me how many stolen bases does he have????? he’s to cocky for me, how good do you think someone from St. Paul could possibly be…

    Are you eating those catfish or something? .392 no big deal?? When was the last person to hit that well this far into the season?

    Stolen bases? He is a catcher. If you know anything about baseball they do not run so well. What is he 22 23 years old?? And he is hitting that well. He deserves it more than A.J. the crabbiest catcher in baseball. Joe Mauer is a stand up guy. I would not say that he is cocky.

    And he is from St. Paul RIGHT ON.

    LETS VOTE THIS KID IN!

    Best batter nothing. Best catcher…period. Stolen bases for a catcher are usually a minor achievement but just for the record he has stolen 21 in 23 attempts for his career. Bottom line, he knows his way around the bases. He’s one of the most fundamentally sound players I’ve seen in a long time. Not bad for a kid in his early 20s. The rest of the Twins could learn a lot from him. I have to say, this is what is wrong with the All-Star voting. Ballot stuffing isn’t the best way to go about it. I’d vote a million times for Mauer but I’m holding to conviction of reusing to vote out of protest over the system.

    He’s not human he can’t be……I’m not sure if the American League will carry 3 or 4 catchers or not so if Joe is not elected as a starter and remains 3rd behind Jason Varitek of the Red Sox and Ivan Rodriguez of the Tigers
    Ozzie Guillen “whitesox manager” has to the pick the reserves so which of the 3 does he pick it may boil down to his catcher AJ or Mauer, I believe Mauer has to be there but it is Ozzie Guillen were talking about he’s kinda of loose cannon…
