in my never ending search to get birds to do something… I stop at nothing… here I terrorized an Egret into flight just so I could “shoot” him with my canon….. ok.. so all I had to do to “terrorize” him was stop the truck and roll down the window… man.. R they jumpy…..

well to continue my torture of you and show that my talentlessness extends to pretty much everything I try… here are a couple of local landscape shots… this is really a tough area to get good landscape shots in… there just isnt the drama you find in some other areas….. but there IS beauty wherever you go… capturing it is the HARD part….

I had some turtle pic thoughts.. but didnt get a chance to get them done… you would be suprised how spooky them lil devils R.. at least around here… and you need to get a nice eye to eye perspective… in THEIR habitat thats a tough one… so Im still working on that shot…. I think one of the coolest turtle shots I can remember seeing is Jim Brandenbergs underwater shot…. day # 69 in his chasing summer series of 90 shots in 90 days….

Ken, let me know when you want to shoot some Northern Water Snakes. I’ll hook you up with my favorite wife as they are attracted to her…
