Rush Lake MOnster Crappie!!!

    A few friends got together on West Rush Lake on Saturday. The crappies were thick on the vexilar, but not too hungry. There was a lot of traffic on the ice. ANyway, my buddy landed a 17 inch crappie that reached 3 pounds! I have never personally witnessed a fish like that!! As soon as I get the pictures developed I will put them on!

    Man what a fish! He was jigging a buckshot spoon in 32 feet of water!!!

    That lake is known to hold some real nice fish. A great lake to fish during the week to avoid the crowds. The lake also has a great population of walleye and big bass.

    That’d be down right pretty with some driftwood! Any considerations of a mount or replica? “Fishsteaks?” :O)

    My bud is indeed getting her mounted! I’m not quite sure where and how, but I did refer him to one ofthe best in the business– Tom’s Taxidermy in Clarksgrove, Mn!!

    I have half a roll of film left, I am hoping icefishng this weekend provides some picture taking so I can get those pictures ON LINE baby!!!!!!!
