Anyone have any ideas/recommendations for taking a charter out on the big pond? A buddy was asking me…he wants to go out on the south side of the lake. Any advice would be appreciated!

I have only done this one time and it was last year. We went out of Pike’s Point and the guy did a great job, put us on fish, and even let us do keg stands on the boat…ok so it was a boys weekend and we got a little wild, but the Captain said that was the first time a keg stand was ever done on his boat….He was a great guy and I think he did a great job with a bunch of guys. Everyone got fish and we got a few nice ones too.

    You want to charter?

Go up to Grand Marais, way better fishing. Plus the Lakers and Salmon are going pretty good right now! Nothing tastes better to me than smoked Laketrout or grilled Kings!!
