Okoboji Kid’s Ice Fishing Contest Jan 27th

I will be helping out at this event put on during the Okoboji Winter Games at Okoboji, IA. The kid’s contest begins at 12:30 Sunday afternoon (Jan. 27th) on Smith’s Bay (near HWY 71 bridge over East and West Okoboji). This is a yearly event put on by the Okoboji Tourism Committee and Pure Fishing (Berkley, Abu Garcia, Fenwick, Mitchell, Spiderwire) which is headquartered in Spirit Lake, IA.

All equipment, bait, holes, etc. is provided. Just load up your kids and come to Okoboji for a fun winter day.

The kid’s event will be held as scheduled (12:30 Sunday January 27). Park at Arnolds Park amusement park and walk out. The holes will be drilled somewhere around the state pier.
