I was looking to go and shoot some clays sometime this week and I was wondering if anyone knew if moon valley gun range in chanhassen was still open. If not, any suggestions on a cheap place to go would be great.

Moon Valley is not open any longer.
I don’t know where you are coming from, but in Eagan, the West End Gun Club has open trap shooting on Sundays every weekend (except major holidays). I think shooting is something like $6.00 per round. You can bring your own shells or buy them there. You have to shoot target loads (3 dram max.). The place is open to the public 10AM-3PM (I think) every Sunday. It’s located off Hwy 3 (So. Robert Trail) and Redpine in Eagan.
