I don’t know how many of you are interested in this, but tomorrow is the last day of WMT’s Tractorcade. We’ll be traveling from Vinton back to Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids tomorrow morning/early afternoon. If you are in the area and want to see over 450 antique tractors, I recommend coming over to Kirkwood or finding a nice shady spot along the route to watch the tractors.
I am running in Group 6 and we’ve got 3 Farmall’s that we are running. There is a 560, a 450, and a 300. I’m sure we’ll be around for a while after the ride is over, so if you find a group of farmalls that say Lorenzen or Schneider on the sides, stop by and say hi.
This is my second year on the ride and its still overwhelming to see all of the tractors lined up. I hope to maybe see someone tomorrow, because it is a great time.
