Sturgeon question…

    I hooked into a heart/line breaker yesterday, and from what i saw, im guessing it was around 55 inches. Does anyone know of a conversion chart for estimating weight???

    55 incher couldbe as much as 50lbs or as skinny as 25 All depends how healthy they are in that system.I speared a 57″ fish that weighed 41lbs and another that was 54″ that weighed 47lbs. Looked like a football. Very hard to guess.
