Cant thank you enough for the Flathead trip of a lifetime! Brian proved himself to be a great guide, fisherman, and STORYTELLER! We had a blast learning some of the techniques used to catch this magnificent fish, and we both agree, that was a night we’ll never forget! After some very nice Flats, a little cpr ,and some good stories, we learned a little DODGEBARGE101 (see pics and story in the mn fishing forum, under mississippi river/catfish, “people fishing in my spot” by BRIANK) This is a trip i would and will recommend to all (even if your not interested in catfishing, you will be by the end of your trip!) and we plan on doing again in the future! Again Brian, I look forward to future outings with you and IDA, and THANK YOU!

    Sounds like a great trip.
You should also put your post on Brian’s trip report.
    Congrats.

    Deeplake,

Have to agree with you on all accounts. Brian comes off more as a long lost fishing buddy that you havn’t talked to in awhile much more then a guide. Not to knock his skills as a guide, but just a heck of a nice guy. Great person to be around, and very knowledgable about his trade.

If only he could figure out what the “Glass House” is up on the high banks

    Thanks again Brian

Brian, She’s still grinning from ear to ear (as evident in your photos!)
Farmboy.. good call. obviously youve been fishing with brian too!! I too asked about the glass house on the hill.. id imagine one of these days in the catfish forum we’ll come across a picture and a post, explaining the mysterious “glass house on the hill”

I’m glad to hear and see the trip of a life time catching cats (IDA ROCKS), and I’m sure more planned

I still need to meet Brian just so I can shake his hand, maybe a good hug will be in order also Just ask Wats, I’m a good hugger

I just might have to plan a trip for 2 myself
Hats off to the party, nice fish
