    Remember those guys that got caught this past spring with hundreds of our Pool 4 walleye and sauger? Just as a further warning to anyone that might be taking home more fish than the legal limit….. just remember, this could be your boat being sold by the DNR.

    FOR SALE: CONFISCATED FISHING BOAT

    Wisconsin Dept. of Natural Resources is accepting sealed bids for the sale of the following boat:

    1998, 1775 Lund Pro-V with side console, Dark green over bronze. 115 HP Johnson outboard and Spartan Roller trailer.

    Boat includes: AM/FM cass, Custom Fit cover, power trim/tilt.

    Bids must start out at a minimum of $6000.00.

    Boat can be seen at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Service

    Center in Baldwin WI. Located at 990 Hillcrest St.

    All bids must be in by Nov. 26, 2001 to:

    This beautiful boat would be an absolute steal at $10,000 as I was informed by an aquaintence of the poacher that last owned this boat that the motor is brand new… less than 50 hours on the motor. Here’s a pic of that rig to give anyone interested an idea of what they’d be buying.

    And yes, those are bags of fillets on top of the boat!

    EFN Webstaff would like to ask each of you able to spread the word about this boat for sale. We’d like to think that with a little word of mouth we could help the WI DNR get a fair price for this rig and subsequently put a little fear in those that might be conducting themselves in a manner similar to these poachers. The more people made aware of this sale, and the penalities for poaching on our favorite body of water, the better off we all are.
