I have a problem

Well it was time to bid my shift again. Since I love to duck hunt so much, I, chose to take a shift from 2pm to 10pm.

I figure that I can hunt at least 4 to 5 days a week.

Is there something wrong with me?? I have to work around my hunting and fishing schedule. What’s wrong with that??

I hope I am not the only guy that thinks this way!!

We all have our hang ups in one way shape or form…some people are born with beards.

Best thing to do is deal with life’s hand the best you can…or go to the dump.

Now that I think about it…scratch “go to the dump”…change it to “go fish”.

Speaking of “working around” hunting and fishing, BrianK, did you ever get them ceiling fans done ?

In my estimation you definately do not have a problem. As a matter of fact there are many of us out here that wish we had the flexibility to arrange our daily schedules to accomodate more time for outdoor activities. I’m jealous. It sounds like you have the situation totally under control and plan to make the most of it.

Big G, since her birthday was Friday before Mothers Day…and I couldn’t go out on the opener….I finished the last fan on opener…but I know she’s cooking up more “fun” for me…

    Well thanks

Sometimes I get the guys who say all you ever do is hunt and fish. But I look at it this way. If I can work my job, make my payments and still be able to be a good husband (No kids) I am not hurting anything or anybody.

Sometimes I wonder if I spend to much time in the woods or the water. But who knows what tomorrow might bring. If I don’t take advantage of a perfect situation now I might not have the chance later in life.

Plus how many people have the chance to get up in the morning on a weekday and say “Yeesh should I go to WBL, Bald Eagle or Forest??”

I suffer the same problem as you !!! I am on a 3:30-12:00 shift for the same reason. I justify it because our youngest son is in half day kindergarten and does not get home until noon. I tell the wife that we are saving on daycare

Maybe we could cross paths some day and take advantage of our schedule for a little weekday duck hunting followed by some . Ohh better not, still got work to look forward to

Sounds good to me. I have never hunted ducks in WISC. And I have a few good spot around the areas I mentioned.
