Battries

    I got a 24ft pontoon boat. I am putting on some trolling motor battires and I need to keep the weight down as low as possible. Do I go with gel cells or acid battries? I need the voltage to stay up as long as possible, I fish a lot at night with floating lights. Just wanted to get someone elses out put on this.

    I run 29 series Interstates, while weights not a factor, I have had good luck with these lasting on the rough waters I fish. My partner swears by Optimas they are smaller and seem to do great in his rig.
