Coming nback to the Hastings launch yesterday I looked over towards Hubs and there was a cruiser by the logs. The guy in the boat was trying to flag us down. There was also someone in the water. Went over there and here this guys boat started smokin and she jumped out to try and keep the boat off the logs in 6-7 FOW. Now this boat was say 25 ft long.
All I can do is quote Jeff Foxworthy….
“Here’s you sign” 
We towed them back to Hubs.
How’d it turn out?? Did you pull him back to Hubs? Everything ok?
And it’s not Foxworthy….It’s Engval 
Every year folk “try” that shortcut…
We had a guy in Duluth killed last year trying to keep his boat off the rocks. He sliped and it crushed him. I think it’s Bill Engvald.

Anyways he said that smoke started coming out of the motor compartment. 
And yes I was the “Hero” and towed him back to Hubs.
