Wondering if anyone can recomend someone in the Rochester area who is handy with older evinrude’s (88′ 90hp), as well as someone who enjoys tinkering with boats. I need some help with a tune up, installing (the right way) a couple new batteries, re-wiring my trolling motor, and depth finder, installing an on-board charger…etc. I don’t have time to do it, and I’d rather not pay a local dealer if I don’t have to. Looking for someone who’d be affordable (obviously). Email me @ [email protected] with any tips…

    Thanks a ton!

Try Brett King who lives in Claremont, Mn. Its about 25-30 miles from here just off of Hwy 14 going towards Owatonna. He does my boat rigging for me when changing fish locators etc plus rigs his own boats every year as hes a PWT/FLW Pro who gets a new boat most years so lots of experience that way. 507-456-4130

    Thanks, Bill

I brought mine to the smaller place in Oronoco last year and had good luck. Removed bad skeg, reworked prop, fixed tilt/trim all for about $150. Smaller shop so you may have the same problem with them being busy, but maybe worth a shot. S and M salvage and Marine-367-4780. That was the only time I had my boat there, but it was a possitive experience.

I agree with the Als quote. Not a lot of service there.

    Good Luck
