Title-ing a boat in MN from a non titled state??

    Still looking at a boat in AL but they do not have a title becasue AL is a non titled state. Before I call the DNR and start down a long “on hold” day does anyone know what info a persons needs to get a boat titled when it has not had one yet?

    i would guess model,size, year, manufacturer, serial number on boat & motor & motor size. probably retail value. weight ? sellers name & address, buyers name & address.

    Dont forget to get a signed bill of sale with all the serial #s etc. I bought a boat in Ala. and had no problems in Minnesota. Gary
