Trolling motor mount

    I have flat bottum that I want to put a foot controlled trolling motor on but need to make a mount to put in on. Does anyone know what size it needs to be to mount it to? Thanks!

    What brand, model and shaft length?

    I don’t know what size you would need, but I would suggest taking it to a local welding shop and have them weld a plate and a few gussets. It cost me about 100 but it makes a good solid mount.

    If you are getting a MinnKota they make a Quick Release Plate / Bracket you can get one from Wade at Jolly Ann Marine for $49.99 no shipping charge and no tax because you live outside of Iowa.
