    ok… caught this Red Squirrel napping in the warm April Sun…… thats all 4 now.. but Im still working on them… so maybe another group next week….

The Bluebills are actually Ring-Necks and the Common Merg is actually a Red-Breasted Merg. I am not trying to correct you, but I want to correctly indentify the species! Great Work!!!!!!

    ahhhh I have a lot to learn about ducks… guess I kinda of lumped ringbills, bluebills, ring necks and scaup into one big pile.. the merganser was weird I never seen one like that before but he was in a big flock of commons… so I figured maybe he was some weird phase or immature or something… figures he was something totally different… fooled me though… he was surrounded by about 20 commons….. I picked him out cuz he looked so weird…
    the first bird is a male bluebird…. he was in great light and oh so very blue….

    Eyes, that bluebird is just striking blue gorgeous, And the loons are incredible, eyes are just sparkling red.

    I just looked at your pics agian and I was wondering what type of equipment you use to take these striking photos? I have tried to take pics before but I think that I need a little better camera .
