I had a walleye mounted in 1986 by a guy I know. I was 15 at the time and when it came back it did not look much like a walleye. More like an overgrown perch. I would love to get the thing repainted and cleaned. Does anyone know anyone who does this? If so, can you get me some contact info.

    – Note – I live in Dubuque Iowa. The closer the better.

    Thanks

You can get it stripped and re-painted.Remember one thing when you look at a fish that has been mounted. It should never “look” painted,it should look natural.I’m sure there are alot of good taxi guys in your area that can help you out.

    Mr.Twister,

Get ahold of Dan Laugesen at Laugesens Taxidermy here in Dubuque. He does an AWESOME job on fish and I have not seen a bad fish done by him. His work is by far better than anyone in the area from what i have seen and im sure he would be able to take care of you. Hope this helps
