I mostly fish pool 4 and have had pretty good luck in the past, but I was just curious about what presentations everyone else uses with their ringies and paddletails. Do you drag, troll, drift, vertical etc.? Just looking for some different methods/opinions on both. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thx

All of the above except trolling. The neccessity of keeping the presentation within inches of the bottom would make trolling pretty tough.
With visibility being only a few inches lately keeping the lure “in the zone” as long for as possible(SLOW!!!) would be my advice.

I disagree with the anything but trolling comment. Trolling can and IS extremely successful this time of year either pulling 3-ways with a minnow or 3-ways with stick baits. Handlineing is also very popular and from being on the river I have notice that its very effective. However vert. jigging is very popular and effective. I would definetly have an open mind about different presentations when visiting P4.

I Have used them in all of the above methods. All work. Some days one way is better than others. Just have to try to out guess the buggers.

The guy was asking about Presentations with ringworms and paddletails! Not stickbaits!

So why didn’t you tell him? He didn’t ask for smart comments like the one you provided.

Thanks rainman, My reply was regarding “trolling ringworms and paddletails”. I don’t think that would be a good technique. Trolling threeways (many times) is difficult around the many boats anchored near the dam. I don’t enjoy it but it hear it is an effective method.
