    With fuel prices always on the rise, everybody is trying get the best fuel economy and save a little at the pumps. There have been many new products that claim an increase in fuel economy by cleaning your fuel system. Some products include Chevron fuel cleaner, Conklin additives, and Seafoam, the list goes on.

    Here is a new one….Acetone

    Acetone In Fuel Said to Increase Mileage

    Wondering if anybody has used it and how it works. Or what are some other strategies that you use to get the most out of your fuel.

    Not sure I’m going to be the guy that finds out.

    Have you ever seen what that stuff does to rubber? Cant imagine it would be very good for any seals or gaskets.

    If anybody has looked at a fuel pump lately, theres ALOT of plastic parts. Not to mention the tank itself !!!

    Clean filters and tires inflated to proper specs! Seafoam does work and will not hurt componets.
