Wanted: vexilar sun shield

    I have older fl-8 and I can’t find a sun shield. Do they even make them anymore? thanks

    Call Vexilar 952-884-5291. They might have some left. You can ask about getting your unit upgraded with the brighter LED’s so you wont need a shield.

    Use a 1 lb coffee can. It fits perfectly on the screen. Cut both ends out of the can paint it black inside and out. It will slide around the vex screen. It’s cheap and works better than the sun shields because it is taller and shades much better on really bright days when it is nice to fish outside the shack.

    try a tin 1 pound coffee can, cut out both ends and paint it black. i have been using one for years……..tom fellegy
