I know that a lot of you guys are still thawing out, but I just had to rub it in that the water temp. down here is pushing 60 degrees and the bass are in the pre spawn mode and are feeding like crazy. I went out last thursday and killed them on Neely Henry Lake with a blk/blu Jig X, green pumpkin Zoom lizard, and a chart./white War Eagle spinnerbait. They are even comming up on top water baits. My father and law caught over 60 crappie yesterday off his peer! There is nothing like Bama fishing. Let me know what the bass fishing is like up north.

Quit rubbing it in!! We haven’t seen air temps of even close to 60, let alone water temps that high. People are still standing on the water up here in WI, but I think those days are numbered.

How is the snow skiing down there? We put in our last day at Mt. LaCrosse this a.m.

    Thanks for the Report Sanders…

    Nice Motor by the way

We pushed 60 degree air temps today….The main rivers are wide open and the backwaters are thinned out pretty good. Another week or so and we’ll be bass fishing

State bank said 63 degrees today. Boy it felt nice even in a t-shirt today. Slop, most of the big sloughs are already open. running slough is wide open at goose, and even that big shallow bay right before goose is open which is really unusual for this time of year. I will probably try some bass fishing next weekend, after the expo of course

My family and I are heading to Table Rock in Branson, MO at the end of the month hopefully we will have the same conditions down there that you have right now!
