i have a 24ft searay weekender. my wife wasn’t happy with me at all when i bought that boat. when she talks about the boat she refers to it as” THE BIG STUPID BOAT” well it stuck. it is called just that, “THE BIG STUPID BOAT”

My boat is affectionately named “Pull My Finger”.

I am not sure where we came up with that…

My old boat was a 14 foot mirro that the previous owner painted brown. Looked like a giant piece of so it was affectionately known as “The Turd”. At least it was a floater. Flushed that boat and haven’t come up with a name for the current boat.

Das Boot 3 – German for the boat 3
My first boat was Das Boot as it was one ugly ole Sea Nymph 14′ with a Merc 20, both of indeterminate age. The motor had a busted water jacket that I fixed with JB Weld and it just refused to give up. The boat had a minimum of 5 leaks and everything in it was second hand equipment. The trailer had at least one light working and only one rim was bent. The name das Boot just fit that old moving violation. Kinda miss her…….
The next two boats have been Das Boot2 and 3 even though both have been new boats (from LaCannes).
