I just heard this from their corp office. Anyone know where it’s going? That will be a nice addition to the area.

Sure do!!
Right next to Sam’s Club in Woodbury.
Grand Opening May 20th 2006
The Fishing Dept Managers name is “Muskie” Mike Renstrom
Be there or be square!!
March 8, 2006 at 5:21 pm #427837I don’t know if they will have the same deals as the SD stores, but my friends are always getting $10.00 off coupons. I just had Jeff pickup 10 reefrunners for me, after the discount, $4.20 a piece. Not like it’s a huge savings over the others, but it’s better than a kick in the teeth.
March 8, 2006 at 5:22 pm #427838I have some very reliable sources that say Cabela’s is going to building in Baldwin WI. 19 miles east of Hudson. Anybody else heard this?
March 8, 2006 at 6:09 pm #427857SteveO, I am also in Hudson, WI. I haven’t heard that but, if it happens….Dreams do come true!
March 8, 2006 at 6:55 pm #427864Doug, let me guess what type of boat your run?
My contacts are in the real estate business so I am thinking they are fairly reliable. Nothing on Cab’s website yet but they are building a ton of stores right now.
If you see a Fishawk with a black and red 90 give me a shout. See ya on the ‘Croix.March 8, 2006 at 7:05 pm #427875Sorry to hear that about Cabelas guys. Just have to take what you can get.
Guess we cant all have a Gander move into our back yard.
March 8, 2006 at 7:56 pm #427892I’m just glad to hear there will be two major sporting goods stores in Woodbury again. The place that used to be Galyans certainly no longer qualifies unless you need a good set of horse shoes. They definitely have the widest selection of horse shoe sets I have ever seen.

March 9, 2006 at 2:18 pm #428200I have been to the one in Anoka, and was very impressed! I think it is Anoka out there, right?
March 9, 2006 at 2:27 pm #428203I think their addresss is Coon Rapids? Anyways thats the one I have been too and it was cool. Impressive handgun setup.
March 9, 2006 at 2:54 pm #428215I think Suzuki’s right. Coon Rapids. Right off of Highway 10 and 242 (Main Street). Just to the West, next to the Best Buy and I think Kohls is over there somewhere.
March 9, 2006 at 4:10 pm #428261Sportsman’s Warehouse is the ONLY place we can find 10/0 hooks for $1.79…Everyother place is well over two bucks.
I’ve heard they’ll be having some impressive seminars after their grand opening!
March 9, 2006 at 11:05 pm #428423In terms of fishing stuff, marine boat stuff, how good is Sportsmans Warehouse compared to Cabelas??

Best of both worlds!
March 10, 2006 at 12:01 pm #428563Cabela’s Roberts WI? At I-94 and Hwy 63? Give us the inside scoop?
March 11, 2006 at 4:13 pm #429002You probably won’t see another store in Wisconsin with the new store being built in richfield, Wi this year. Consider the companies “destination” approach, and you will have to agree that you won’t see stores popping up like Gander’s. With 2 stores in or near MPLS/St. Paul (owatonna and Roger’s) as well as a store in PDC, WI, Richfield, WI, and yet another heading for Chicagoland, you won’t see much more in the upper midwest.
