I see the Rapala Glass Shad Rap is on sale at Cabela’s for $3.99 (normal $5.99). Has anyone used these for Bass or Walleye. They have a 1 1/2 inch (a #5 regular rap is 2 inch). I would think it would be good for Crappie. If anyone has used them I would like to know with what success, and how they work compared to the regular rap.

    THANKS

Jim, The glass raps have been my favorite for walleyes on pool 4 the last 2 years.

i use them on lake michigan for trout – i like them – i think they run slightly deeper but open water fish so can’t verify it but seems to when i run them with regular raps next to the boat. certainly stand up to abuse.

On Pool 4, and out at Big Stone, I use them a ton. I troll with #5s and cast #7s, almost always in white, but I replace the hooks with red gami’s.

Those white glass shadraps are pretty much my goto baits on those two waters these days.

Hey Jim, yes, what I call “white” is model 510, the regular glass shad rap.

    Good luck to you!
