Wife got a job at the Lakeland hospital today, so now comes the time to start the wheels in motion. Making sure the house is finished in time to sell, start looking at other houses, etc. etc. etc. I just wondered if there was anyone around the area? I will definatly miss that bug muddy creek and everyone I have become friends with here.

But on the bright side you can’t walk 10 feet up there without running into water. Watch out smallies and muskies here comes a river rat.

    hey dodge,
    Best wishes in your move.
The only person I know well in the area is Jim Stewart, The owner of Rollie and Helens Musky shop. My old neighbor and distant cousin. He will be happy to show you around the area and give you some tips.
Just besure and tell him hi from Boysen at Harlan,IA.

Hey Greg, congratulations and good luck on the move The Minoqua area has a lot of fishing opportunities. Rollie and Helen’s Musky shop is awesome. I stopped there last summer on the Harley and I thought I walked into Musky bait heaven. We’ll miss you around here. So when is the first River Rat reunion in Minoqua?

    MOVING
Dude who will show me around all those great 5a spots?
Who will be there to make fun of all your CRUSTY old rods and really skweeky reels?
Who will take all my top water baits and let the pike get them?
Who will be there to push you out of the sand when you run aground?
who will come and fix all the broke stuff at the house?

Very sad day for me…but enough about me.

CONGRATS! Well more to the wife than you.
But Now you get all that water to explore. Up there they will wonder what the heck kinda boat is that??
I look forward to heading up there for the smallies, pike and perhaps a Muskie.

Even though your only about 4 or so hours away…you will be Missed!

    Later

We’ll get you set up and I might be able to meet you before you move as we (Torky and I) are going to be in Trempeauleau next weekend and I hope we are fishing.
