I need some help. I’m trying to compile a list of the tackle stores around the country. Everything from the Internet pro-shops to the mom and pop shops. I figure this would be a great place to get some results. If you have a favorite or know of one in your area and would like to help me out you can reply to this thread with the name and phone number. Thanks.

February 26, 2006 at 4:13 pm #424645This list could be for many things. I’ll be honest. My passion is bass fishing. I’m hoping to end up making my living soley on touring the country fishing. Having an extensive list of retailers as contacts couldn’t hurt. If you ever need anything no matter where you are at you can know of the best/nearest places where you can find someone with a fondness for fishermen. I’ll make a deal with you if we can come up with a good list I will post it in this forum. Deal

The three places that will get most of my money from here on out…
Cabelas.com- ease of not having drive to a store-
Jolly Ann Marine- Wade has the best prices and service around(also on-line ease)!
B-FISH-N tackle- best plastics and jigs on the market(online again!).I have no need to go anywhere else…usually-
I also spend a good amount of money at the local scheels, and fin and feather.
February 26, 2006 at 8:29 pm #424649Gotta put in a plug for Mills Fleet Farm here. Just about “Anywhere, WI” has one nearby. While not a specialty shop, there’s almost something there that’ll meet your immediate need and usually at a better price than the Ganders, Bass Pros, and Cabelas shops. Stop into the Hudson store and if I’m on duty, I’ll do everything I can to help you personally!
Along with the aforementioning opinions, B-Fish-N Tackle, Hooked On Fishing, and Jolly Ann Marine are 3 of the best I’ve ever known! Good prices, great products, and customer service is top priority. Thumbs up all around!
Just in case you’re ever wondering whats close by a water you’re fishing, contact the local chamber of commerce as well and they’ll let you know who’s available to do business with you.

February 27, 2006 at 3:32 pm #424888Hey guy’s,
I know we can get more of these. Don’t forget the on and off the water marine dealers. Don’t just think about tackle stores, run the whole route you run in your mind. Where do you go when when you have got fishing on the brain? Please make sure you either add the phone number or the city and state where it’s located. Be looking for the listing I come up with. I will be posting it as another thread.
