Just wondering what IDAer’s are thinking about the Wild making the playoffs. I personaly have not given up all hope, just most of it.

Does anyone think we will win Lord Stanley’s Cup under current coaching staff?

I say yes. WHEN it happens, I’ll buy.

They’re still in the running. They played a very good game tonight! The bounces just happened to go the Avs. way. Not to mention Abby played out of his mind!! We have a great coaching staff…legendary! They were well on the way to putting together a contender before the lockout. Now the game has changed and every team had to restack their rosters. They could really make a run this year if they trade off Roloson for a high powered forward, if they do that it has to be soon. What I like about the coaching staff, they won’t trade for “today”, it must be for the future of the team, not just to help them now. Give them a few years, Mn. will be a hockey powerhouse! I could go on and on, man, I love hockey!!

They’re close but no cigar. I can’t ever remember seeing a team that is in more close games. How often do the Wild lose by more than a goal or two? The other problem is that they are in a tough division. They’re playing well over .500 but it isn’t going to be enough.

The coaching staff is just fine, they have won the cup before.
We need people to score, score, score!

Now, if you want playoff hockey just hang tight the Golden Gophers are starting their run to another national title.

Has anyone been to a more exciting event then playoff hockey? Did anybody here take in the Stars vs Blackhawk playoff wars?

Birddog, You bring up some great points about our coaching staff and Roloson. And they sure did play a great game against those Avs, but Abbs stood on this head.

    Your are right, hockey rules!
