Does anyone really care? I for one do not, it might be slightly better than the Mo Town stuff but not much. And what about the Steelers TD? It never happened. Pretty good game so far .

They were simply horrible. I got up and walked away after the second song.
February 6, 2006 at 1:04 am #418062I agree, The old boy’s should retire I think! I’d rather listen to a CD of their song’s when they still could hold a tune!!!!!
The sound was really bad during the pre-game show also.
It was still better than Janet!!!
February 6, 2006 at 1:06 am #418065I just asked my wife…” What did you think of the half time show?”
She shook her head and said “naaa..that was really sad…”
And the Seahawks scored a touchdown at least once amd maybe even twice, and the Steelers did not score a touchdown…I really don’t like it when the ref’s dictate the game..
Seahawks have ruled this game so far..to bad the score board doesn’t show it…
I don’t really care who wins, may the best team win
enjoy the game all
February 6, 2006 at 1:07 am #418066That was possibly “THE WORST” halftime show I have ever seen. Mick and the boys should go back to the “home” and stay there!!!! I believe Mick has developed a “tin ear”
February 6, 2006 at 2:29 am #418090National anthem at the start was bad too. This whole game sucks, then again, look where its at.
February 6, 2006 at 3:08 am #418101Keith Richards looked like a Zombie, no joke he looked like a walking corpes. He must be internally emballmed with all the chemicals he has ingested.
February 6, 2006 at 3:22 am #418105Well, it was loud…it must have been good……yikes!!!!!! That just proves that the older you get, DOESN’T mean you get better…
February 6, 2006 at 3:25 am #418107With all the great, and I mean Great music that came out of Motown I can’t figure out why they went with the Stones….????
The Super Bowl is a great American event, they should have had great American music at half time!
jldiiPosts: 2294February 6, 2006 at 3:29 am #418110Lousey game, and lousey show all in all. For a person who isn’t a fan of either team, it really wasn’t much of a game to watch.
February 6, 2006 at 3:35 am #418111Thats exactly what I was saying JJ. SOme Spinners/Stylistics/Tempations…
Nuge…A little Cat Scratch maybe???
Bob Seeger (Sp?)
The list is long!
Man, they were terrible!Kind of cool with the Bus announcing his retirement. What a great way to go out. What a class guy too!
February 6, 2006 at 3:37 am #418112When is the NFL going to stop digging up graves and put some new talent in the halftime show?
They just don’t get it.The National Anthem was butchered as well.
Maybe next year’s halftime show we’ll have Michael Jackson sing “Beat It” and Carrot Top do a stand up act.
February 6, 2006 at 3:52 am #418113I agree that the stones stunk. But you are never going to get good sound in a stadium. The band couldn’t hear themselves which also makes it pretty hard to be good.
I have said for a long time that until singers are 15′ tall I won’t go to a large venue. Way better to go to the 400 Bar and see a band up close and personal
February 6, 2006 at 6:12 am #418140yup the stones bit hind tit,… I was disappointed……But I still want to learn the jagger dance
February 6, 2006 at 12:29 pm #418150Finally figured out you guys are talking about the Super Bowl
I was lucky I didn’t have to suffer through this the way it sounds. My favorite wife recorded a “how to” golf show for me.
February 6, 2006 at 1:45 pm #418163Heard some wag suggest the Stones retitle their song “I Can’t Get No Satisfaction” to “I Can’t Get No Circulation”
February 6, 2006 at 2:27 pm #418168Yep I gotta add my dis-satisfaction with both the Stones and the National Anthem. Aretha still has a set of lungs but the total rendition stunk. I still like the Dixie Chicks version from a couple years ago.
February 6, 2006 at 2:41 pm #418170I wish people would just sing the national anthem and not make it into some big production. It gets old. The only thing worse than the Stones was the officiating.
February 6, 2006 at 6:17 pm #418221Our party thought it would be bad so we turned to the Simpson’s at halftime. We turned it back to the game after the Simpson’s were done and only missed 6 seconds of the 3rd quarter. Even though it was a re-run, it was a much better show.
pittmdPosts: 181February 6, 2006 at 6:45 pm #418227My wife started to laugh when the guitar player tried to strut around. She thought he looked like he needed a cane.
February 6, 2006 at 6:59 pm #418231Wow……Hey Greg, where is your swiming suit? Your guest in the boat looks to have a nice tan there buddy!!
