I love this site so much, I decided to become a supporting member. I didn’t send much, but got a “thank you” care package in the mail that must have been worth as much (or more) than I donated. Really nice.

It’s really awesome that a site of this quality is free to us all. I can’t tell you how much I’ve learned. Hopefully I’ll get to meet some of you on my home waters on Pool 4.

I’ve got the only 16′ Fisher Pro Avenger Tiller on the pool, so I’m easy to recognize – sand and maroon in color with a mercury. I’ll be wearing my new IDA hat and there will be a yellow lab in the front showing me the way!

I encourage anyone who finds themselves on here a lot to do the same – it feels great to support something we all have benefited from so much.

    Thanks again!

Thank you sir. And I’m glad you liked the goodies. I always send out more than promised… call it a weakness.

Scott, if you see a Green Angler SS Lund going out when you’re thinking about going home for the night….That would be me!

In all honesty, my favorite part of the care package I got for donating (just $25, I think) was the hand-written thank you note. I appreciated that note much more than one from a computer. You do a fantastic job with this site, James.

I wholeheartedly agree Scott. After being a member here for a few years, at the GTG I finally made a donation. It wasn’t much, but it made me feel pretty good about giving back to the site. I know I get way more from this site than what I could pay for. Just the fishing tips alone is invaluable. Then there are the great stories and pics from the hunting forum, they are priceless We have an awesome thing going on this site and it is only going to get better

    Briank,

I look forward to meeting you someday. Out at night for cats?

I am not a catfish guy, but some of my most exciting moments fishing were when I’ve accidently hooked into one walleye fishing on pool 4.

Maybe I should re-think my primary fish target?

So many fish, so little time…..

And Brian is the kind of guy that accidently hooks a walleye fishing for cats! Usually behind the fin on a big circle hook, and a no-roll!

    Just kidding!!!!

Mine was when I “accidently” hooked Chris!

Daytime river fising is great, but there’s something differant about night fishing the river. Can’t wait for the next 85 degree night waiting for the cat’s to come home.

…Chris, I’ve told you before…Big Cat’s turn up thier noses at eyes!

Chris it actually is bass…but those bass guys get to mean.

As I’ve said a number of times before Scott, if it weren’t for IDA and it’s great members, I would have miss sooo many great fishing adventures. I would never have guessed it when I registered….

Actually, I sent in a photo of my neighbor holding a carp and some of the regulars here were haveing fun with it… so I registered to give them some crap back. The photo looked amazingly like Clint Eastwood holding the carp…guess you’d have to see it!

By the way, you didn’t get your dog a IDA hat?

I’ve just joined the site as a member and just love it. I’ve found the articles very interesting and informative. It is quickly becoming one of my favorite sites to visit, can’t wait to log on each day to see what’s posted new on the board. Great work guys and look for my donation soon.

Another happy fishin’ dude. Cool to hear! The care package sent out is awesome! The welcome letter makes you feel right at home. It is a great job done by the IDA Staff.

For the lurkers out there, it is at no cost to sign on. We want your stories, techniques and input! There is a lot of (behind the scene stuff), you are missing out on. I know you dudes have heard it before, but it’s true.

Great post Scott C, look forward to your next post!

    BrianK,

I’ll give him mine after he chews on it – it’ll only take a week or two .

    He’s still a pup.

Then I’ll have to get another! There’s also the kids……

    Scott
