I am still trying to figure out why you are upset with this. A LEO seeing one of these or a trainer is going to treat a gun the same. I can see your arguement in reverse, a firearm looking too much like the real thing. But these are the real thing. Why would someone assume that this is a fake gun?
Are you saying if a LEO spotted one of these in public, he may let his guard down because it is colored?
    Help me…
I am not picking on you..just curious.

    That kinda sums it up.
Just don’t feel comfortable about the colored guns.
I guess if the PD is sending out a advisement/warning about them I guess i am going to follow suit.
Course thinking about it at $100-$250 a pop for the coating not everyone is going to afford it.
Like I said just my 2 cents.

Personally, I would be against it for another reason. The gun is attracting attention to itself by virtue of it’s color. Stainless or NI are bad enough, but you really don’t want a person seeing it until or unless it is needed. I think it is stupid for that reason alone.

When Clarence posted this…I was thinking altogether differantly.

I would be concerned for young kids seeing the “eye candy” and picking it up….with an AD as the out come.

I know, no gun should be left out where others have access.

PS That Glock is UGLY! Reminds me of white washing a barn.

Wow, all that pale white Glock needs is some purple polka dots to be really cool!

Sad day again, as to the studies done how about Florida they made it a law that all rental cars had to have florida plates. Why Because the criminals knew out of state vehicle were tourists and not carrying. DUH!!! To me that instance show me more than all of the so called unbiased studies (Is there such a thing anymore)It does work. And if it saves one victum that would make it worth while.
