A heap of ashes is all that’s left of Jon Fenner’s fish house after vandals hit Chisago Lake. This wasn’t just any fish house. It was one specially made for Fenner equipped with handicapped gear for the 26-year-old who’s suffered multiple strokes.
Fenner was born with a carotid artery and at age 22 he suddenly had three strokes, paralyzing the left side of his body. After long rehabilitation he started fishing again, outdoor sports are a passion of his.
Just days ago his family bought him the specially equipped fish house, but last Wednesday vandals burned it down. When Fenner saw his fish house in rubbles, his father says Jon cried.
The Chisago County Sheriff’s department is investigating and the Fenners are offering a $500 reward for anyone with information about what happened to their fish house.

I spoke to his father. Found out the shack was built by Five Star Fish Houses in Ottertail, MN.
Spoke to one of the owners at Five Star. They are contacting the family to find out what Jon needs for a new shack and then will let me know where to direct donations. They will be getting back to me tomorrow.
Check back here tomorrow after lunch for more infor.
I’ll keep y’all update via this thread.
