Greg, You hit the nail on the head on altE for Upper Miss refuge! To give the feds more power to take away the rights of any of us to use the refuge is wrong and illegal. They have miss managed the refuge for 30 years according to their own documents and public comments. They have pitted the different users of, the refuge against each other now!These are states rights to regulate fish,trap,regs to restrict entrance,speed limits and is more duplication and waaste of refuge dollars. I hope that more of those who use the refuge will write to the USFW service,state DNR,state and congressional leaders. We have until 1March to do so! I have not used that response form. It would probably work.
However I have written the Winona Office three times and I just get a generic letter saying my comments will be documented.
All my letters to the State Reps…well they had never heard of the CCP Alt E. 
However all three Minnesota reps had people at the meeting last Tuesday night in Wabasha.
I am just sending to the dept heads. I want to make sure my voice is heard. This is all a done deal there is way to much money involved. I just want the right to say at least I tried to get this changed.
