I have been looking for a good used tiller boat in the 17 foot range. I have come across several pro V 1775’s in the 2000-2001 year class. How are these boats for fishing waters such as Upper Red Lake, Winnie and LOW? I’m sure they can handle the big waters just fine. Does anybody have the specs on these boats or pics of the inside layout. I know that they are 17 1/2 feet in lenght, but I am curious to know the beam width and the weight of the boat. Also, the ones I have come across are in the $14K price range with a 75 -80 yamaha 4 stroke, including some electronics and trolling motor. Is that about right? Does this size motor troll down nicely on a boat this size? I am possibly looking into selling my 1998 angler 1650 with a 50 mec 4 stroke. Any thoughts on what I can get for that if I decided to sell? Would I be gaining that much of a boat for the money? I appreciate any thoughts/comments anyone has.

Well I have a mid 90’s 1775 pro v and it has a 85 1/2 beam and the weight is 1085 ,but if you go to lund.com you can get the specs for a newer one witht the IPS hull whitch may be different. I personally think there are more user friendly boats out there for the average guy (not tournament guys) You might want to check the clasifieds on here and look at eye guide’s rig ,a great boat with the new e tec and proven on mille lacs
, this rig is set up perfect and is a 2004/2005 for the same money. Whatever you get good luck and good fisin this year
