My fishing report June 2015 ?????

Ok so I’m trying too get everyone’s attention. Just let me have it for a little while. Read on:

Here is my fishing report from the Wabasha area in the year 2015..
I had to fish the main channel all day because my electric trolling motor is broken and I can not enter the refuge. The fish were biting so I guess it wasn’t that big a deal, I’ll get my batteries fixed and next time will have a report from Catfish Slough and the Buffalo.
However I did get to see some nice canoes using the area and we also saw six Bird watchers out on the trails. Oh you guys should have been there it was a great day and the view of the refuge from the outside was awesome. I will post some photos when I get a chance.

If you think I’m kidding just sit back and watch it happen.
The pledge is not said in school anymore. They want to take God out of everything. And most all these changes are done by the minority as the majority sits and watches.

Well if you are getting my drift here you had better attend some of the up coming meetings and get your letters in the mail.
I would advise sending your comments to your congress and State Rep’s. So far the ones I have contacted do not even know about the CCP and the FWS Alternative E.

So we are running out of time but the changes will happen.

Here is a copy of one of the letters that I have sent. see attachment.

This refuge starts here on lower Pool 4 and extends south 261 river miles. It is 240,000 acres. I have not read all the lower Pool proposals only those effecting Pool 4 and that is enough to give you a headache.

We are fortunate that they haven’t gone to trolling motors only in pool 12 & 13. YET. I did send my letter out to our four officials in Illinois and haven’t had a response yet.

If I hunted ducks still on 13, I would be against this plan. Based on my use of the river, I like the plan. Actually, I like it alot.

I looked at the plan for Pool 4 and I certainly see why you are upset. That absolutely is horrible.
