ATV 4 wheeler……used….which one????

If you were going to buy a used ATV, 4X4, which one would be the best bet? I know they all have potential to be “shot” if they are used, but which one would have held up better, has the least maintaince, and would the best for the buck?

I sold my snowmobile yesterday because I was tired of keeping it in the pole barn and not having enough snow to get it out to pull my fishhouse around. So, I am contemplating an ATV 4 wheeler. I know nothing about ATV’s as I knew nothing about snowmobiles, so I need the depth of your knowledge.

Your asking a very good question that many others face each day. With the sheer number of units available the choices can be overwhelming no doubt. To start with before anyone can make a specific model reccomendaiont they need to know what your specific needs are. How will you be using the ATV? How often? How will you haul it? Who will service it? All good question that need to be answered.

I have been around ATVs since we had our first three wheeler in 1979. Since that time I have consumed as much ATV related material as possible. While I’m no expert on them, I am very familiar with ATVs.
