Not sure if you guys have been watching this game, but it has been exciting. Lots of lead changes, but it looks like USC is going to win their 3rd Straight National Championship Plus they kept their 34 or 35?? game win streak alive.

All one can really say is WOW!!!

That might be one seriously costly face-mask penalty on SC! First down….

That last drive by Texas was awsome. I was hoping Texas would win. I was SOOOO tired of hearing how great USC was, There are alot of sportwriters, the so called “experts” who have a double batch of crow to eat between this game and the Wisconsin/Auburn game.

Vince Young showed why he had a legitimate gripe when he was upset that he only got 75 votes for the Heisman.

Did anyone hear Matt Leinart after the game? “I think we are still the better team, they just made the plays tonight” ??? Some players make excuses, Great players make a difference.

That was an awesome game!!! Big time players need to come up big in big time games, and Young definately showed he’s a BIG time player!

It sure was a good game but i deffiniatly seen some major mistakes by the replay booth. The game may not have been close enough for Texas to catch them if those calls would have been made correctly exspecially the blown knee down call. That was one of the biggest blown calls ive ever seen just for television right? I love close games but they shouldnt give a team an advantage like that. That is why they came out with replay in college for. Still a very good game.

That game was everything you want to see in a National Championship game. GREAT FOOTBALL!

As for Young wearing Green and Gold next year….I seriously doubt that is going to happen. First off, he is still a junior, and has hinted that he probably will be coming back for his senior year, and secondly…..his hometown, Houston, has the first pick!

Yeah the knee was down but that doest mean they would not have scored in the next series of downs. They were really shredding USC on that drive. But Texas did not get the interception call they deserved when the d-back came down on his back and lost the ball . The ground cannot cause a fumble and USC scored on that drive.

Should/will Vince Young skip his Sr year and turn pro?

I would definately say leave college for the big bucks. He can’t really improve his draft position, he is going to be top 5 for sure, if not top 2. Plus with him being a physical qb there is a better chance of injury. Take the $$$ when you can get it.

And how about those butt-less chaps on the Texas cheer-leaders? Now that’s a good look right there!!!

It sounds like he will stay for his senior season. I heard he was All-Academic Big 12 and he promised his mother and grandmother he would get his diploma. Awesome to be that talented and smart too.

I AGREE BUT WE CAN ALL WISH CAN’T WE? AND WHO KNOWS WE COULD HAVE THE FIRST DRAFT PICK THE YEAR AFTER THIS ONE.
WITH THE TALENT HE HAS (RUNNING AND PASSING) HE WOULD BE ONE HECK OF A REPLACEMENT FOR BRETT NOT THAT ROGERS KID.

What if both Young and Bush decide to stay in school next year??

They both have another year left at the college level.

BUSH WILL GO TO THE NFL THIS YEAR, HE SEE’S THE DOLLAR SIGNS IN FRONT OF HIM AND AFTER TEXAS SHUT HIM DOWN, HE BETTER GO GET THE MONEY BEFORE OTHER TEAMS CAN FIGURE OUT HOW TO SHUT HIM DOWN. JUST MY .02 AND EXPERT BY NO MEANS.

I’d put money on it that Young leaves for the NFL. After a 467 yard performance and 3 td’s in the National Championship game, he really doesnt have anything left to accomplish at the college football level. All he’s got left is the heisman, but I doubt that he would stick around just to try for the heisman.
