scratch on chrome bumper

    I have a small scratch on a chrome bumper. Is there any way to seal that with superglue or nail polish so that it won’t rust or get water and salt on it? Or will nothing adhere to it very well? Any ideas. Thanks.

    I was told when I got the exhaust on my truck (Chrome Tips)
    To put Vasilene on them during the winter months. It puts a layer of protection on the chrome. As it wears off of course you will need to add more BUT… it does work!
