Lacrosse Area Fishing

    Will be in the Lacrosse area during June and was wondering if there is good Walleye fishing on the river during that time ?

    Welcome to IDA Mark.
    Depending on water temps, trolling for eyes starts to kick off good in June. I have my best luck with 3 ways, pulling Rapalas at the beginning of June. As the water warms up I do good on Shad Raps.

    Scott,
    Nope ! Don’t even know of any. We have only fished pools 3,4,9&10. Lake City/Red Wing MN and Prarie Du Chein WI.on the river. But if you know of one where I could collect enough money to pay for this winter’s heating bills and be a sure shoo in be sure to hollar !

    I would agree with Bret since he knows this water and the walleyes very well on this pool Depending on the flow, you may also be able to pick a few up on the wingdams as well. Either way, June is a good time to be fishing
