Ben, Ben, Ben… Please pass the pipe. The wild have no offense this year. I’m not an avid fan, but from the little I’ve watched, they are always on the defensive end of the ice. I hope you are right though, it’s time the Lord return to the home of hockey.

The Wild offence is so close to being outstanding, if we can get it together and make the playoffs. Lord Stanley may be moving to St. Paul.

P.S. When it does happen, first rounds on me.

The wild are only 8pts. out of a playoff spot right now, pretty good for the injuries they’ve had, key players are getting healthier. They have one of the best goaltending tandems in the game and with the schedule being how it is they play 13 home games and 7 away in the next month. They’re pretty good at home so I look for them to make a solid push up the standings. They sure beat up on the Pens last night!! GO WILD!!

You will need to be able to score to win the cup. These guy’s can’t score enough to win three games , let alone a four game series. There will be no titles until Neagle (ownership) spends for a big time scorer, which Lamair has never had in his system.

If you want to see the cup, head for Ottawa.

Kooty, thats because head coach Jacques Lemaire coaches the “trap” style of hockey. It’s meant to choke the oppostiong team at the red and blue line. Hockey fans might recall three years ago when the Penquins and Lemieux came to xcel and Lemieux bitched that fans dont want to see the “trap” . But the “trap” did get Lemaire the Lord Stanley more than once. And Lemaire told Marino to kiss his @ss.

But heres some scoring machines from minnesota past

Steve Payne, Bobby Smith, Al McAdam…The Kemps Ice Cream line!!

Man oh man does that bring back some great memories at the old Met Center. Curt Giles, Brad and Bryan Maxwell, Gordy Roberts, Mike Eaves, Kieth Acton, Jack Carlson, Willie Plett, Ron Zanoosy, Giles Melosche in goal, and ever famous J.P. Parisse!!

I’ve still never seen another pro player turn on their heels like Bobby Goldsworth used to.

Those days after the merger with Cleveland were some great days to be a North Stars fan.
