    Lets have a tip-up party. I am going to round up a group of friends to celebrate my re-release into the single world. It will be on Forest Lake on Sunday. We will be fishing out in front of the channel between first and second lake on the second lake side. Beer, Brats, Vikes, and Pike, a lethal combination for fun. And the weather looks pretty good to boot. Everyone is invited, should be a great time. Planning on hitting the ice at 8:00 a.m., see you there.

    Dan..congrads. Actually I am going through the same thing right now. Unfortunately its my second and both of them suck. So have fun with your friends and I will have a beer myself tonight (actually several) hope you find better next time. I guess that will be my X-mas wish for myself also. Besides fishing in florida this February…good luck…

    Chris is right, no cats, but there are some really huge carp. Bottom feeders are all the same anyway, right????
    We can set up a tip up with corn on it for you, even put a bell on the flag so it feels like classic river fishing.

    If I can get my butt out of bed, I may head up there. I have this hankering for gils…but I need some northern to pickle for Christmas.

    Are you going to be going on the lake from the boat launch right next to 35? Walking or wheeling?

    I have a tip up around here someplace…I’ll have to look for it.

    Krista you have trouble on back roads? i wouldn’t have guessed. Sorry had to do it. This was meant to say Nicole has to keep an eye open and on the look out for the guys and not meant on the unproductive side. Its ok Nicole, its good to see how it could be taken on the other side. My apologies, i see where it could be taken wrong.
