JLD…while I still don’t understand your argument, I am going to rest my case. We will see what happens the rest of the year…the best of luck.

Why do you never hear Packer fans gloat about the glory days with Indy Infante as coach, or Bart Starr, or Forrest Gregg, or Ray Rhodes, or…. Lets hear you talk big about the glory days with Lynn (lame) Dickey playing QB, or Don “Magic” Majkowski, just to name a few. How about all those glory years from 1970-1993?

SORT OF SOUNDS LIKE A X PACKER FAN, JUMP SHIP IN THOSE YEARS,DID YA ? YOU KNOW MORE PACKER HISTORY THAN MOST

I REMEMBER THOSE YEARS ALSO BUT STILL BLEED GREEN AND GOLD ALL WE ARE SAYING IS WE HAVE HAD HISTORY WHERE IS YOURS ?????

    Wade,

Thats my point. Why talk about those days at all, good or bad as they may be. They have absolutely nothing to do with today. Those games are all ancient history, so why should anyone keep bringing them up?

When things are not going well in the present, one tends to reminisce about the good old days…just human nature, I guess. It’s kinda like looking in the rear view mirror as your car sails off the cliff(before it hits the bottom, which for Packer fans, unlike Viking fans, hasn’t happened yet! )

I really don’t want to get into this post but a coworker over heard me talking about it!
How bad of a team are you if you are 2-9 scored more points that given up???????
    Packers points for 232
    points against 223

    Vikings points for 198
    Points against 257

Go figure I guess the better teams find a way to win and overcome the odds!!!!

    Just my .02 cents!

I don’t mind say this, but this year’s Packer team is by far the best 2-8 team that the league has ever seen. I feel sorry for them actually. One or two plays in each of those games they lost could have turned the results the other way. I don’t know if I’d go so far as to say they should be 8-2, but they have played better than that 2-8 record would say.
