The Bears have just beaten 2 playoff calibur teams in a row….MN beat the Browns…woo hoo. MN is playing better w/o CP, no doubt about that, but the Bears are playing inspired football right now, and that’s tough to beat.

Out of the 11 games they have played 4 teams with winning records(only 2 as of the time they played them). If you think Carolina and Tampa are playoff teams..Oh well. Of the games left, they will loose to Pitts, and Atlanta, will loose one of the two they play with GB, and will loose to Minnesota..It will be close at the end, but Minnesota will win the division.

Think What you want TBO…but Carolina is a Playoff team…they ARE leading their division. You can throw Tampa either way I suppose, but let’s look at who MN has beaten.

    Clevelandx2/Packersx2/NewOrleans/Detroit/Giants

With the exception of the Giants , the rest of the teams are really good aren’t they

    Teams they’ve Lost to

TampaBay/Cincy/Atlanta/Chicago(pounded MN by the way 28-3)/Carolina/

All the teams they’ve lost to are playoff teams

    Games to Go:

    Detroit/St.Louis/Pittsburgh/Baltimore/Chicago

I predict a 3-2 stretch for MN, but the Bears aren’t going to drop 4 of their next 5….

I respect your enthusiasm though….As a long time Bengal fan, i know what it’s like….

Just my Analysis by the numbers

oh sorry mr. Tbo…Looks like i was wrong. The score is actually 14-10 Provided the call stand and Ryan Longwell sticks the X-tra point…

Boy, you guys from LaCrosse are testy today. Actually guys, I really don’t give a rip about the Bears, Packers, or the Vikings…Just to cold to go fishing “outside” today, so I thought I would do a little fishing “inside” today…got one Bass, and one Bigfish.

It would be nice if it would come down to the last game of the season to see who wins the division, Bears/Vikings

but I really don’t see that happining…Bears win the NFC North

The Bear and Vikes will play for the division title on Jan.1st.

The Bears lost to the Browns, and I doubt the Bears will do well against either the Steelers or the Bengals, plus GB has had their number for years.

The Bears might win the division, but they will have a very hard time doing it, if at all.

I agree… but that was the old Packers…Brett Favre is the only top shelf player they have left…todays typical “stumblin, fumblin, bumblin” finish was a great example of the lack of talent this year…especially at wide receiver.
I don’t see the Pack nor the Vikes cracking the best defense in the NFL.

It doesn’t matter who wins the division or who is better…all the top team in the division is doing is losing spots in the draft. Each and every team in the North Division have no chance whatsoever to make it anywhere this year.

    Bottom Line:

    Bears – SUCK!
    Vikings – SUCK!
    Packers – SUCK!
    Lions – SUCK!

BC is right, you guys keep winning. I am hoping for a loss every game for the remainder of the season. Play the scrubs, evaluate the talent pool and reload with good draft spots.

Drafting to fill voids in your team is a poor way to draft…
drafting for the future has always proved to be more profitable

    NFC NORTH W L T
    Chicago 8 3 0
    Minnesota 6 5 0
    Detroit 4 7 0
    Green Bay 2 9 0

Its crazy,,after 11 games and the Packer fans are saying this is a poor division and that it really doesn’t matter..

    Green Bay 8 3 0
    Chicago 6 5 0
    Minesota 4 7 0
    Detroit 2 9 0

But just a few short years ago, this was the record in our division and they(the Packer Fans) said the NFC North’s Green Bay Packers were heading to the Super Bowl

now whos talking the most smack ?

    Slop,

You better do some research. The Bears won the division 84,85,86,87, and ’01. From 64-04 the division has changed names several times, but nothing much has really changed. It has been mostly owned by the Vikings, and then the Packers. Without looking it up, between the Pack and the Vikings, we’ve had the title something like 30 or 32 times over the last 40 years.

what’s that got to do with anything? The Bears are still gonna win the division this year.

Maybe I misunderstood you, but it sounded to me like you were saying its not uncommon for the Bears to win the division.

Everyone is talking about their defense, but I just don’t see it. The strongest offense they have faced this year was Cin.(3rd) and they lost that game. After that, the strongest offense they have beaten this year is ranked 16th. the rest are all ranked 25,27,26,32,21,and 24th. The strongest they still have to play is ranked 10th.

If they can beat Pittsburg and G.B. on the road as well as Atlanta at home, I will give them some props, but till then….no way.

FYI, The division is the Bears to loose, and they will on or before Jan.1st in the Dome!!

You make some good points. One thing is for sure. These next 6 weeks of football are going to seperate the Men from the Boys. Should be fun and definetly worth some more smack talk!!

    Go Bengals!!

Ecnook, I’d have to agree about the drafting. Detroit has been getting high draft picks for years and they still can’t produce a winning season.

They weren’t drafting to fill weak spots, they were taking what they thought was the best available player, which is what ecnook is saying works.

Just another one of Matt Millen’s finer decisions.
