Well the packers about screwed themselves out of yet another game. Great coaching! Oh and the defense was even better!

Its ok Big. This year we finally will get better picks than the vikes in the draft and they STILL won’t win the division.
November 22, 2005 at 12:24 pm #398393Pretty sad when you have to be looking forward to the draft in week 11.
November 22, 2005 at 12:44 pm #398396I’m afraid you’re right, Fish. Da Bears look pretty good right now and the Vikes aren’t going to catch them.

bigpikePosts: 6259November 22, 2005 at 12:44 pm #398397Well for the first time in 15 years we do have the draft to look forward to, in the day of free agency and salary cap I would say thats about as impressive of a run as the Vikings, Bears and Lions could hope to do combined! 1 Super bowl, 2 apearences, 5 NFC championship games and 7 division crowns. As Packer fans there is no shame in that! Now we can look forward to the Reggie Bush sweepstakes!
November 22, 2005 at 12:50 pm #398399Sorry Bigpike, but it’s funny how the Pack fans pull out the “history” stuff so soon after the Purple sweep. I am pumped we beat the cheeseheads in Lambert last night. I am also looking forward to the Pack beating the Bears twice. By the way, congrats to the Purple defense for holding the Pack running game to an awesome 21 yards rushing! Bwahahahaha

On the otherhand, the Packers will lead the division, but, only if you invert the standings!
November 22, 2005 at 1:44 pm #398419I GUESS WE CAN LET THESE VIKINGS FANS HARP ABOUT THIS, THIS IS ABOUT ALL THEY GET TO CHEER ABOUT FOR QUITE A WHILE.
THEY ACCUALLY THINK THEY CAN CATCH THE BEARS
bigpikePosts: 6259November 22, 2005 at 1:45 pm #398421No problem, enjoy! I know I would if we won both games on last secound fieldgoals. The big picture for us “history buffs” is the run is over its time re-tool. It was the secound best run in franchise history and put the pride back into the smallest town in pro sports. The fact remains that this run of winning seasons in free agency and salary cap will probably never be topped. Good luck to your team this year, I hope Brad Johnson takes you far
November 22, 2005 at 1:45 pm #398422And the Vikes did it with an over the hill, never was anyone, back up QB.

HE IS ONE OF THE 2 GUYS ON YOUR TEAM THAT HAS A SUPERBOWL RING WHO DID THE OTHER ONE PLAY FOR , LET’S SEE HMMMM I THINK IT WAS GREEN BAY WAS IT NOT
AND HE IS STILL BETTER THAN CULLPECKER , BUT HE HAD TO GET HURT TO REALIZE IT, BOY YOU GUYS REALLY HAVE SOMETHING TO BRAG ABOUT GOOD LUCK CATCHING THE BEARS, MORE FALSE HOPES. YOU SAY WE KEEP COMING UP WITH HISTORY, AT LEAST WE HAVE HISTORY
I DON’T CARE THIS SEASON COULD BE THE BEST THING TO HAPPEN IN GREENBAY SHOULD DO SOME HOUSE CLEANING AND GET THERE THINKING STRAIGHTED OUT.
THE END

Actually, Sharper came into the league in 1997. When did he win a ring with Green Bay?November 22, 2005 at 3:08 pm #398459Quote:

Yah, Reggie Bush looks like the real deal. Only one problem, the Pack will need to pick #1 to get Bush. I think Houston will have that pick.

YOUR RIGHT, SO THAT ONLY MAKES ONE ?? THAT HAS A RING
Travis Taylor won one with the Ravens I believe. Either way, not many players on either team have rings. I think there are only 3 left from the Packer win in 96. Favre, Henderson (who is hurt), and Flanagan (who was on IR in 96 and didn’t play in the superbowl.November 22, 2005 at 4:28 pm #398482The Pack have 2 arse woopins coming from the BEARS yet this season And the Vikes still have one more also
Go # 1 Chicago Bears!!! God that sounds good!!!
Remeber keep your lines in the water were all in this together.
November 22, 2005 at 4:30 pm #398485All in all not a bad game to watch. To bad teams battiling it out on Monday night in a great stadium. I am a Packer fan and somehow I am not the least bit upset about the loss.Heck the Pack have given us cheeseheads some great years and a recent Superbowl win so I say to the rest.Relax and have some fun watching a football game.Better yet take a kid hunting or fishing instead of burning 3 hours watching the tube. Nothing better than sharing the outdoors with a kid.
November 22, 2005 at 5:41 pm #398500Don’t forget guys the pack have 1 more super in last 25 years then Vikes ……Keep living in the past cheeseheads because the future is bleek….and……
November 22, 2005 at 6:29 pm #398519but i guess if we are gonna talk about the past……havent the vikings beat the packers the last three times?
November 22, 2005 at 10:04 pm #398589hmmmm what does the future hold for GB??? Well I’d bet my house a sold-out stadium for as long as I live, and let me see,and never had an.. ummmmm what’s the word…….Blackout, yeah that’s the word. And you don’t hear us cutting on our team when we lose Maybe the Vikings do need a bigger stadium…. to be able to seat all the bandwagon jumpers when they do good. Lambeau Field seats 72,601 and was built in 1957 maybe we need a new stadium? To all you Viking fans good luck in the playoffs
November 22, 2005 at 10:06 pm #398591its a same that both games had to be won by a wimmpy little kicker!
November 22, 2005 at 10:16 pm #398594Does anybody else think brad johnson looks like a kicker too? I thought he looked like an idiot with that funny helmet..I dont know just the way he looked reminded me of a kicker. Yeah you can have your win.. At least the pack isn’t a bunch of jack es!
You know its pretty sad when even the coach is looking at some major fines for trying to sell counterfit superbowl ticketsNovember 23, 2005 at 2:38 am #398665Man you guys are sore loosers
put your tail between your legs and take your beatin like men…oh thats right…your packer fans..your forgivin

Nov 22, 2005, 05:15 PM CSTGreen Bay police say Monday night’s Packers-Vikings game had the highest number of arrests and ejections of any game this season.
Fifteen people were arrested and 52 ejected from Lambeau Field.
The arrests were for a variety of crimes including drug possession, underage drinking, and unlawful conduct. Most of the ejections were for unruly behavior.
Ashwaubenon Public Safety reported 61 calls related to the Packers game resulting in nine arrests. Two people were charged for domestic violence and three were arrested for fighting. Two were arrested for drunken driving, including a person being charged with their seventh Operating While Intoxicated offense.
——————–
Of course, lets not forget the Green Bay fan’s ritual of lining up on the street and dropping their pants and mooning the opposing team bus when they leave Lambeau either.
You guys are the best fans in the NFL,… yeah right!
