I am looking for someone to give me an official score on a buck I shot this week. I used to have a list of people who scored in WI, but have lost it. Can anyone give me a contact for a scorer in the Dane County, WI area? I’d appreciate any info. that people can give me.

smsmith there is a number of people on this boardf that can give you a rough idea but it cannot be “officially” scored until after the mandatory drying out period. If you take it to the Deer Classic in Madison this winter you will be able to get an official score.

    Thanks for the responses.

I’ll post a picture once I figure out how to get the pictures from my digital camera onto my computer and then onto this site.

Yeah, I know it needs to dry for 60 days. I can do a rough score and get within 4″-5″ probably.

I know I can go to the Deer Classic and get it scored, but I am not real excited about carrying aroung my head mount with 100’s of people.

I was wanting to be able to contact a scorer and set up a time/place to get it scored. I’d be happy to “pay” the scorer with a couple cases of beer or some other non-monetary compensation.

I’ll score it for a couple cases of beer!!! Let’s see, I need a piece of string and a pencil. There, now give the beer. I promise it to score better and better with each beer!!

Yeah, well if your piece of string and pencil gives me an official score so I can enter it in both books, you are in business my friend. If not, maybe I’ll buy you a beer someday. Although, I don’t know if I can drink beer with a Minnesotan. Kind of against my principles

    Oh NO Mr. Smith!!!

Kooty isn’t a Minnesotan!!!! We won’t allow anyone to give him the honors of that title!!!!!!

    He is a South Dakotian!!!!!!

Are you a packers fan?? If so, the deer will likely shrink with eah passing beer.

As for the MN comment, I take serious offense to being considered a member of this god foresaken state!! That was a real low blow.

Sorry for calling you a Minnesotan when you’re not, I would be offended at that also. I am trying to add a picture to this post, so we’ll see how it works. Okay, guess my picture’s too big. Don’t know how to make it smaller.

That must be one heck of a buck if you can’t even get the picture resized to fit

Dave Boland from Chatfield MN. He’ll pretty much go anywhere to measure a buck. Or call the Pope & Young club also in Chatfield. 507-867-4144. Good Luck! JLK

    smsmith,
I am an official scorer for the MN deer classic, but not an official P&Y scorer. someone mentioned Dave Boland in Chatfield. He is excellent, and is an official everything scorer. if you want to email me your pic, I can get it on here for you.

Thanks to everyone for the responses. I just emailed the pic to Kooty, so hopefully he’ll be able to post it for me. Thanks in advance.

I found a listing of guys in my general area who can measure for both books. Once the 60 days has passed, I will give one of them a call.

Can you give me some idea as to how you resized the picture so that I can learn how to do it? Thanks
