What do you guys think of the whole TO situation? For those that don’t know…his running of the mouth, and him being upset that his 7yr 49million dollar contract isn’t good enough….has finally gotten him suspended. The suspension can last up to 4 weeks, unless of course they deactivate him like what Gruden did to Keyshawn.

Personally, I think he has nothing to complain about. If he would learn to shutup and just play, he could get the money he wants and be the best there is to be.

I give congrats to Andy Reid for doing this…and I hope the NFL makes a mark of him and I hope NOBODY picks him up when he ends up being released. It would send a message to all these ME ME ME type players that the NFL isn’t going to take it anymore…

what do you guys think? Also, what team do you think would take the risk in picking him up?

I agree. Unfortunately, he will likely get picked up. The Raiders would be a nice fit…lol. Moss & him could run over traffic cops together. Consider it Team Building…

I wouldn’t cut him and give him the satisfaction.

I would just let him sit at home and waste away the prime of his career.

T.O. agreed that Favre would lead his team to a better record. Do you think the Packers have any interest in him? Especially with all the injuries the Packers have this year. Personally, I think T.O. is the poster child of what is wrong with pro sports today. He is losing $200 thousand per game he is suspended. The news said 4 game max suspension with no pay. I think the frozen fields of Lambert are a little too cold for T.O.

Sadly, the NFL, more specifically Detroit ended one of the best running backs career early. Sanders asked to be traded to a “contender” and was sent packing. Now I don’t ever recall seeing Barry cause the ruckus TO has. He will unfortunately get picked up by a team that is in need. Oakland doesn’t need him, but some teams that do, GB, Washington, Miami??

I also applaud Andy Reid for setting him down, I hope they let him rot!!

Did anyone catch what Paul Maguire said about TO last night on ESPN?? He hit the nail right on the head! ” self considerant, idiot”. Enough said! I would deactivate him til the end of the season!

I know what my Dad would of done, had I ever said anything like that to anyone. Nothing a good A.. kicking wouldn’t fix. Let him rot away the prime of his career doing sit ups on his driveway. Let the media have their fun with this, I’m sure they would anyways.

If I were Green Bay right now, I would consider myself lucky to not have TO rather then throw away the rest of the season with that joker. Favre has always been a class act, and should not have to deal with something like this to discuss for the rest of his career.

    I likewise applaud Andy Reid.
Just sorry it took most of last week to happen. But he gave the clown the opportunity to apologize to the team and he didn’t, they have some rules and stand by them.
Makes a great example for some other teams in the league to follow.

The saddest part about all this is that Philly will have to pay him for the remainder of the season after the 4 game suspension is up.

Raiders will take him, Sherm couldn’t handle him, Bret deserves better, Thank god my Packers won’t stoop that low. This guy is Moss with a bigger mouth/ego.

Raiders can’t take him either. Too big of a hit on the salary cap. If they want him, they are going to have to renegotiate a lot of players contracts in order to get him in. Also, T.O. has already pizzed a lot of people off in that area. Oakland/San Fransico, basically the same town.

I think you’re going to see T.O., out of football for good. Many teams would love to have a player with his potential, but nobody wants to deal with all the baggage he brings. He’s a 2 time looser, S.F. and Philly.

I don’t think the owners (some) give a damn about his mouth all they want is to make money and if they think TO can make them money they will pay him. Just like cheating Barry Bonds nobody cares. If Bonds comes back next year I will not watch a game. He’ll be back.

“TO be or not TO be? That is the question!” My guess he is not to be and is his escapades will cost him millions of dollars and tarnish, if not terminate, what could have been a very promising career!

    I would honor his contract!
Off the record I would contact all the other owners indicating I was going to make an example of T.O.
I would accept any donations from the other owners to help defray the contract costs, if none came I would still sit him and take the contract hit.

Can Owens afford to sit for the balance of his contract and have to accept it? If the Eagles honor the contract and pay him they are not obligated to play or even dress him for games. Let him sit and rot and see who is next.

Owens whole life is based on being “THE GUY”. No TV, no games, no newspaper, no ESPN he will be Mr. Nobody.

ZERO chance T.O. will out of football for good, what he has screwed up is a long term contract with big a bonus he will be a year to year guy the rest of his career.

    But he will play.

Good for Andy Reid and good for the Eagles. TO is out of work for the rest of the season. I hear the Cancer Society is looking for a spokesman.

I see the Four You, T.O. website has been updated.

And by the way, I swear we could start a thread about a knitting circle and y’all would turn it into a Randy Moss bashing session. Anybody been watching the Vikes this season (scratch that… anyone been staying awake through the games)?
