well my dear season is ruined, well ok, not ruined but finished for the year. My wife and I had our 3rd child yesterday up in wyoming clinic.

we had a little girl, named Kirsten Nicole Hildebrandt
she weighed in at 8 pounds 8 ounces, (now if dad could only catch fish that big, that would be great) she had a 14 inch head and was 19.5 inches long. I figured that it was a keeper, seeing how we only have boys. j/k. anyway, she was born yesterday morning at 06:30 a.m. so I had to pass on my dear season and sure glad I did, she is a cutie and I am looking forward to spending some quality cuddle time with her every day after work. so really, my dear season may be ruined, but on her 13th birthday, she will be hunting deer on her bday, and it will be opener. now that won’t be soo bad.

    thanks

Your season wasn’t ruined, look at it this way…….

You didn’t have to go because your wife dropped a small doe!

    Congrats!!

Congratulations to you and your wife Shane. Enjoy every minute you can with them because they grow up way to fast. You met my baby girl at the GTG and she has a baby girl herself so that is how fast time flies.

    Congrats Shane,

I feel you man, my boy Nate was born early March, right when I really start walleye fishing. I am looking forward to taking him out and justifying a new “family” walleye boat.

Just another reason for more toys

    hey guys,

thanks for all of the great comments everyone. the mom and the baby are home and doing great. and yes, now i have to look at getting a bigger boat toher than a 16′. maybe now I can talk the wife into that new/used bass boat that I have always wanted. I will try to get pics posted as soon as I can.
