Man is that an ugly fish, good thing those things bite better at night.

And he expects me to go night time Catin with him next year? No way with fish that ugly. Brian we are going during the daylight. No ifs ands about it, daytime fishin for sure.

No Bill, it has to be in the night…I don’t think you want to be spotted clonking…do you?

IF there were a number of bass out there like that last smallie and largemouth…I would trade in all my catten equipment for shirts that don’t show scum lines.

    Really!

Scott? Aren’t you going to post your little kitten here?

The above picture isn’t of our biggest fish…but it is of two big smelly fish…I told Putz i wasn’t going to take him fishing again until he showered…we haven’t been out since last summer…’course I never take him to the “good” spots!

Don’t know what clonking is but yes a day bite makes more sense [in reality for me]. I can’t lift heavy ones off the bottom anyway with a 10 lb. weight lifting restriction so how about a lession on the size cats I can lift? No need to show off to me, I’ve seen your pics [of cats, lol] and am already so teaching me more about what I can catch and pull in is much more beneficial to a new Catin guy. I bought the In-Fisherman Classic Catfish DVD last night, best catin DVD ever in my mind as it deals with catching 3-10 lb. catin, how to, and needed equipement, and the others ones I have should of been watched ”after” this one. But if you still want to put me on big cats I can watch you haul em in as that would be an experience too. I will do 98% of any catin I do on Lake Zumbro [wider deeper spot on the Zumbro River] where probably 90% of the cats I would catch would be in the 2-10 lb range mostly. I have heard of and seen pics of much bigger ones but I’m a rookie.
    Thanks, Bill

That pig weighed in at 14 pounds 3 ounces, caught at West Lake Toho in Kissimmee, FL back in the black and white days.

I know for sure that thats a no. Other than maybe for the biggest bass caught by any angler on this site! Florida is known for monsters. I have seen 17 pounders from down there and i am pretty sure there are even bigger. Surprising the world record isnt actually from one of those lakes down there…

P-Nort try wearing a pair of rubber gloves. It really helps with the smell. to go for a great one.

Oddly enough Fish, it is on my wall. It’s 5 pounds off the Florida state record but it caused a lot of excitement when I brought it in to weigh. It ended up in several newspapers around Kissimmee. I say “Good Morning” to it every day when I walk into my office.
