Grouse Hunting

    Wondering where some good public land to do some Ruffed Grouse hunting would be. Or if you have any tips, for a first time grouse hunter.

    Not sure how far you’re looking to travel but numbers are still fairly high in Price and Rusk county in Wisconsin. Tons of county land. Just look for clear cuts a year or two old that border a tag alder swamp. Just walk the seam and get ready! You can pick up a plat book at the respective court houses. If you plan a trip, give me a shout. I can point you in the right direction. Hope this helps….Good Luck!

    hey, if ur ever lookin for somebody to hunt/fish with just let me know. Thats usually all i’m ever doing especially if ur in the area.

    I know some good spots just north of the big pond. I usually head up there after deer hunting and try for a few weekends. if you are intersted, look me up.
